This weekend has been a powerful weekend hosted by the Laymen of St. Joseph Baptist Church. On Friday night, July 12th, we watched the documentary by Dr. Tony Evans and held a panel discussion afterwards. It was indeed a great discussion. On Saturday morning, we experienced a prayer breakfast with several men of God rendering fervent prayers, including our own Deacon Jerald Green. After a nice breakfast, we were Grace to hear a powerful message and charge from our own Deacon Keith Gibby. He encouraged the men to stand strong. He reminded us that we need accountability partners in our lives to help us to grow. He also reminded us that our fellow brother and sister is not our enemy, but rather Satan is.
